Dr Sara Jaffer
MChD, FRACGP, BMedSci (UNSW)

Dr Sara Jaffer is a General Practitioner who graduated from the Australian National University in 2016. She previously completed a Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of New South Wales, following an early interest in health and human biology.

She enjoys the broad scope of general practice and works with patients of all ages. Her particular interests include women’s health including antenatal care, mental health, paediatrics and chronic disease management.
Fluent in both English and Burmese, Dr Sara is committed to providing care that is respectful, inclusive and culturally aware. She is dedicated to supporting individuals and families at every stage of life, providing care that evolves with their needs.

When she’s not at work, you’ll likely find her with her family, halfway through an orienteering course, or trying to convince fish that her bait is more interesting than the real thing.
