Dr Mahmoud Awad
MBBS, FRACGP, BPharm – University of Sydney
Dr Mahmoud Awad is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Sydney. Before studying medicine, he completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy, also at the University of Sydney, giving him a strong foundation in both medical and pharmacological sciences.
Known for his empathetic and patient-centred approach, Dr Awad is committed to evidence-based medicine and staying up to date with the latest medical research and guidelines. He takes the time to listen and understand each patient’s concerns, ensuring that care is tailored to their individual needs.
Dr Awad is passionate about preventative health and enjoys caring for patients across all stages of life – from newborns to older adults – with a focus on supporting the health and wellbeing of entire families. His goal is to help patients not only manage illness but also optimise their long-term health.
Fluent in both English and Arabic, Dr Awad is able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of patients, helping them feel understood and supported.
